Addition Game for Kindergarteners (November 11th)

The Mathletes were very excited about the Addition Game I introduced this week.  The attached pdf explains the rules and has game boards.  All you need is dice.  The pdf allows you to create your own dice of 6 or 12 sides.  If the game is played with 6-sided dice the children are reinforcing the addition table to 6+6.  If they use the 12-sided dice, they are working with the addition tables up to 12 + 12.  The pdf also gives them a blank addition table with answers for practice.

They should work at a comfortable level.  The game can be played with one or two players.

Please have them bring all of their addition tables practice sheets and game sheets to class this week for Mathlete Dollars.
