Summer Math Packet 2015 (34 Lessons in Review)
Posted on July 10th, 2015 by kramer
Dear Mathletes:
I hope you all are enjoying your July 4th weekend. This is the first time in 14 years that I have created a summer Mathlete packet. Essentially, it is the 2014-2015 MathleteNation year in review. The pdf is 48 pages, contains a short description of the lesson and a link to www.mathletenation.com with additional explanation and pdfs. I included only a fraction of the work we did during the year but a little from each of our 34 weeks of classes. I recommend only printing those lessons the children choose to do.
This is intended for those children and/or parents who want to keep the work we did fresh for the summer. This work is not required by any means. In fact, I would love for it to be something the children might choose to do on a rainy day or in the evening as an alternative to TV or video games. They can choose their favorite Mathlete lessons or just pick a random concept.
Of course, if they bring their work to the first weeks of Mathletes in the fall, they will earn substantial Mathlete Dollars right away.
When I return from phase I of my summer break, I will begin the email process of sorting the classes for 2015-2016.
Feel free to pass this pdf on to others who might benefit. If your child was not a Mathlete this year, feel free to have them try the challenges for their own enjoyment.
Have an enjoyable rest of your summer.
All the best,
David Kramer
